A vibrant celebration of Kalamazoo's natural beauty, creative energy, and collective spirit. The piece frames the city through native wildlife—butterflies, moths, mammals, birds, and pollinators—intertwined with beloved local flora to honor the region's ecological richness.

More than a visual piece, it's a testament to what happens when a community invests in itself. That 'juice'—the drive to create, nurture, and sustain—flows through every corner of Kalamazoo.

Literacy Lane transformed the dead end on Bryant Street into a vibrant play street—murals on the pavement, surrounding boards, and a bridge entrance, all reflecting facets of literacy, local history, and culture.

Designed collaboratively with the community and KLC stakeholders over four months of workdays. One big impact for the neighborhood.
